Wobble While You Work!

My students need the learning wobble stools so that they can have choice in where and how they would like to learn. My little ones need to be able to wiggle and move while working!

My Students

The students that make up my classroom are inquisitive, passionate, and vibrant 1st graders from central Indiana! With kindness as a pillar of our room, we strive to treat other respectfully and practice empathy.

I am lucky enough to teach a group of young students who bring with them unique strengths and perspectives.

In our close-knit community, parents are also involved in the students' learning. The parents and teachers work in partnership in order to provide the optimal learning environment for our kids.

My Project

My students need flexible seating options in the classroom. Wobble stools allow students to move as they work. These wobble stools can increase core strength and the movement can be calming and organizing for their brains, which can increase attention.

With these wobble stools, my students will have more choice in where and how they learn best.

The movement that the wobble stools allow for can be used as a means to release some of the energy that these students have. The mind and body are connected and wobble stools promote movement while also learning. The wobble stools will be another option for students to consider when trying to choose a learning space that is optimal for them!
