Every morning we start off the day be greeting each other with Hello's, Good Morning's, High Five's, and Hugs. We end the day the same way! We are a family and we are in this life together to help each other be better!My First graders are so much fun!
They come into our room with smiles, and lots of energy as well as excitement for the day ahead!
The students excitement and energy, energizes me for all the things we will encounter together! They are anxiously waiting to take on the world!
My Project
I teach a room full of energetic and enthusiastic 1st graders. They are so much fun in the classroom! Three main reasons for using the wobble stools are better for brain function and focus! First, movement increases blood flow to the brain, so better brain function = more learning! Second, movement allows the children to get rid of wiggles, or the natural need to move. By allowing children to get rid of this excess energy throughout the day helps them to FOCUS!!!
The changes in the classroom I hope to see are more stamina during working times, less negative behaviors, and more on task behaviors.
This will help the students reach their academic and personal goals within the classroom. Wobble while you work!
