This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My classroom is full of eager 4th-grade​ students, who come to school ready to face new learning challenges each day. My students are very active, excited to learn, and they are full of life.

Although 100% of students receive free lunch at our school, this does not stop them from meeting the daily challenges they face each day.

Most of the students come from low-income families so learning is not the only challenge they may face. With a little motivation and making learning fun, they can do anything!

My Project

I would love for my class to receive some new Hokki Stools to allow the students in my class to wobble while they work. We are a self-contained 4th grade class, which means we spend most of our day in the classroom working through all subjects. The stools will help my student to move and work.

It is often hard to stay focus while sitting still for to long, these stools will allow the students in my class to move their bodies and focus at the same time.

You would be surprised at how much a little wobbling can help!
