My students are inspiring! They are from culturally and economically diverse backgrounds, yet this does not stop them from putting forth their very best effort each and every day. We are a Title I school, meaning the majority of our students qualify for a free or reduced price meal program, based on the economic statuses of their families. Additionally, many of our students are non-native speakers of English. While such obstacles might be hard to overcome for even some adults, my students strive to learn, grow, and accomplish their goals. They make me proud to be their teacher.
Sitting still is tough, especially when you're expected to do it for six hours a day in a hard plastic chair. However, this doesn't have to be the case for students anymore! KORE wobble stools give students the opportunity to move while they work, getting rid of all that extra energy that can make it difficult to focus.
I always want to provide my students with opportunities to be comfortable and productive, and sometimes that simply starts with how they sit.
Every student is unique and has special needs. While they don't all get restless in a standard chair, many do. I would be doing my students a disservice if I didn't try to provide a learning environment that best suits them.
Thanks so much for helping my students wobble while they work!
