My Students

The students in my class are only 25 of the almost 700 students that come to school each day eager to learn! Our school services Pre-K through 4th grade. We are located in a high poverty area, but this has never stopped our students or teachers from striving for the best. The students in my class have very diverse backgrounds. I make it my personal, daily goal to have each child enter my classroom feeling welcomed, loved, and appreciated! All of my students matter and bring so much joy to my life!

My Project

My very active Kindergarten students would greatly benefit from 5 Wobble Chairs. This project would provide alternate seating for several of my students who are struggling with sitting still on our carpet.

Their little 5 year old bodies are in constant motion and they are required to sit for long periods of time.

This can sometimes prove to be difficult and their need to move and fidget can be distracting to other students. Having these Wobble Chairs will allow them to concentrate during instruction with minimal distraction to others.

My goal is for all students to be able to concentrate and learn in the best environment possible for their individual needs.
