This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My amazing students come to school everyday excited to learn! Our small school has a mix of neighborhood kids as well as students bused in from another part of town. One special thing about our school is how culturally diverse we are! We celebrate our differences and the students have a place where they can feel safe and proud of who they are.

Many of our students are economically disadvantaged but that doesn't stop them from being awesome students!

They are sweet, funny and responsible! They put a smile on my face each and everyday!

My Project

My students are dedicated learners, but often times they have trouble sitting still in the hard and uncomfortable chairs we have in the classroom. I have students in my rooms with special needs and the standard classroom chairs makes it difficult to sit and concentrate.

I would love a set of wobble stools to allow for comfortable learning.

These stools allow the students to rock around in circles while staying at their desk to work. I love the idea of flexible seating because not everyone learns best with the same tools. These stools would make my classroom ready for a diverse group of learners.
