My Students

I have a lively group of 4th graders that are often working throughout the day within our various curricular areas to seek and gain more knowledge. They greet me at the classroom door each morning with a smile on their face and they are eager to learn.

My students attend an International Baccalaureate World School where they are becoming active, lifelong learners through global learning.

Our classroom is quite diverse with various individual student needs and struggles inside and outside of the classroom. I want to make the classroom a safe and exciting learning environment for each and every student.

My Project

Sitting in hard, plastic chairs is not comfortable. A chair that offers some movement while offering core work will provide a better learning experience for my students. My students are very motivated and engaged when they are able to see pictures, video clips, interact with simulated science experiments, and hear educational songs focusing on our curricular study. These chairs will help with their engagement and productivity.

By helping to fund this project, you are giving my students a comfortable seat that provides movement while working core muscles helping with proper posture for the students.
