My Students
My class of first grade students come from a variety of backgrounds but they all come to school to be loved and learn in a safe and inviting environment. We are a Title I school and our campus has over 80% of students who receive free/reduced lunch. We are also a free breakfast campus where every student on our campus receives free breakfast each morning when arriving at school.
I strive each day to help each student achieve their highest potential.
My Project
I am requesting five Wobble chairs for my students to use when learning throughout the day. Studies show that movement increases ability to listen and retain information especially for young students who require more movement and brain breaks when learning for long periods of time. The Wobble chairs would increase focus while learning.
We would love to have a few wobble chairs for this purpose!
I have an amazing group of students who are eager to learn, but many of my students struggle with focusing.
These chairs would benefit my flexible seating classroom environment and student's learning throughout the day.
