My students need wobble chair and cushions to help keep them moving in their learning. Keeping their body moving will help them maintain focus and concentration throughout the day.
My students are energetic, loving, persistent first graders. They show grit and determination as they overcome the many obstacles they face. They come to school every day with a smiling face, and ready to give as many hugs as needed. They love school, and learning new things.
We are a Title I school with over 90% of our students receiving free/reduced-price lunch.
Our students face challenges and obstacles that many have never had to overcome. Our school works endlessly to give them the enriched learning experience they deserve. We have an amazing group of teachers that are dedicated and committed to every student!
My Project
My firsties are very busy and energetic firsties. I am asking for wobble chairs and cushions because I know how important movement is to help their brains maintain focus. Six- and seven-year-olds don't sit still for long periods of time very well. Wobble chairs and cushions will help them keep moving and learning at the same time.
I am a strong believer in giving my students every opportunity to succeed, despite any challenges they may face.
Different kiddos have different needs, and these different seating options will support all of my students' achievement and success in their academic endeavors.
