I have not met my students yet but I am 100% positive that they will benefit from flexible seating. In every classroom that I have been in, I have noticed that the students who have the best attention are the students whose classroom has diverse seating.
The school has students from diverse backgrounds who need your help to make their 3rd grade year the best one yet.
There are students who have parents who have money to help them be successful in school; there are students who are able to get the essentials for school but nothing more; and then there are students who do not have any financial stability in their lives at all. There is a wide range of students in the school.
I want my new students to come into 3rd grade ready to rumble! I believe when they see the flexible seating, they will be so excited and eager to jump into learning.
My Project
This is my first year teaching and these students will benefit from this more than you could ever imagine. I am trying my hardest to fund the essentials for the classroom, but I want the students to have an engaging and fun experience in 3rd grade. This project will help get flexible seating into my classroom.
Wobble stools help those students who have trouble focusing on their schoolwork.
It allows the students to fidget and move around without distracting the other students. I will rotate the stools around the room to ensure that each and every student will be able to use the flexible seating.
I believe that every single type of student could benefit from this seating and will be successful because of it.
