My Students

As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite their challenges, they still come to school eager to please and learn new things!

My students come to school every single day with an excitement to learn and I want to provide them with the best possible education because THEY DESERVE IT!

They are the first students I have ever taught and I want to make sure they leave with the best possible experience and a desire to always want to learn new things.

My Project

These stools will have a special home in our classroom. They will be used EVERY single day. It can be very hard for 6-7-year-olds to sit for long periods of time. These will help my students work while making it fun and allowing them to choose their own seats. I want to eventually give my students LOTS of choices for seating with bean bags, yoga mats, scoop seats, etc. These stools will keep my students engaged and allow us to learn more new things! I have personally seen how much students love these in other classrooms! We are so excited to implement these in our classroom.
