Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
4th grade is such an awesome grade to teach. The students are eager to learn and become more independent. My students mature and grow so much throughout their 4th-grade year.
My students need to have the freedom to move, bounce, and wiggle to be able to focus on challenging academic tasks.
The curriculum is rigorous and expectations are high. I am amazed at the perseverance and motivation that my students use to attack difficult tasks.
Our school is a Title l school. Students come to us from many different home structures and life experiences. We know that each child is a masterpiece in the making.
My Project
Wobble stools allow students the ability to move while learning. Some students need seating options that allow for a little more freedom of movement. Students are able to make small controlled movements to help stimulate their brain.
Students need opportunities to move throughout their day.
Wobble stools are a great resource for students that need more movement incorporated in their day. Students are able to balance, shift, and wiggle without interrupting the learning of their classmates.
My students love the four wobble stools I have in my classroom and I would like to add more stools so that more students have access to these types of flexible seating options.
