Wobble Stools for Active Minds

Help me give my students ergonomic stools to help them transform sitting into an activity. These Hokki stools allow for movement in all directions while students focus their brainpower on improving their reading.

My Students

I work with students in kindergarten through 5th grade who are at least 1 year behind their peers in reading. I work with them using a research-based phonics program in small groups of 2-4 students. By delivering targeted, data-driven support, I am working to fill skill gaps in phonics and reading comprehension that are keeping students from reaching their grade level peers.

My goal for this project is to Hokki wobble stools for my students!

These stools are a tool that can help children with Autism (and other disorders) stay seated and focused on their school work.

My Project

I am requesting coveted Hokki wobble stools for my reading support classroom. I currently have 2 teaching stations in my classroom where we run simultaneous reading groups. One of the teaching stations has Hokki wobble stools and the other does not. The table with the wobble stools is very popular!

I'd love to provide ergonomic seating to all the students who receive reading support in my classroom.

These stools are designed to allow students to keep moving while in a seated activity. Students are able to rock, twist an turn... all of which are critical to their development and well being. Happy students are focused students.
