Wobble Seats for First Grade

My Project

I have a class of 20 first graders that love to learn. These students are so excited to be in school after experiencing kindergarten online. They are adjusting well but still struggle to sit still and truly focus. There are specific students who need additional support to stay engaged while we are learning.

Wobble seats will support students who struggle to focus.

It allows more blood flow to the brain because their body is constantly moving. Students who may get easily distracted will have the opportunity to focus on their learning instead of being distracted. I will also be asking for more pencils and book boxes in my project. These book boxes allow students to keep their favorite books in their own space. It helps them become independent and organized.
