I teach at a special needs Title I preschool in a rural town in Ohio where 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.
My special needs preschool classroom is made up of some amazing kids. Many of my students receive backpack food on the weekend, and our school also runs a free clothes closet for student uniforms. Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful one day.
My Project
Wobble chairs are designed to help wiggly students have some movement without tipping over. These chairs especially help students with special needs focus on learning while wiggling at the same time. They will also be easy for the kids to carry and maneuver due to their lightweight make up.
The storage shelf will really help us organize our room and get materials we aren't currently using out of the way.
We have the perfect spot for our storage shelf and plenty of items to fill it up already.
