My Students

In our classroom, we consider ourselves more of a family instead of just a classroom. We like to break it down with Go Noodle, but also know when it is time to get focused and learn. This group of kiddos truly know when to step up and help each other when one is dragging behind during note taking.

My goal as a teacher is to make my classroom feel more as a safe haven for each and every single one of them.

I want every kiddo to want to enjoy coming to school, and be excited for each day. We talk about how each day is a clean start and we don't dwell on what happened the day before if it was bad!

My Project

Each kiddo in room 36 with benefit from these wobble stools everyday! They are the perfect opportunity for them to maintain focus while working. These wobble stools are easy to move around and will allow for a more flexible seating option. Wobble chairs give kiddos the opportunity to "wobble" and get out the wiggles while staying focused on the task in front of them. Students who sit in regular chairs all day tend to have bad posture, and wobble stools will help them work on maintaining great posture.

Studies continually show the need for movement while learning.

In our room we love to move around whether is be working at our desk or moving closer to the SmartBoard.
