This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are full of excitement and eager to experience life! Their enthusiasm for learning is contagious. At our Title I school, our scholars will work on building their 21st-century skills through collaboration, problem-solving, and critical thinking to solve real world problems that link to our second-grade curriculum. Unfortunately, the vast majority cannot afford the tools they desperately need that would assist them in improving their learning capabilities. Although I often spend personal money for supplies and materials, there remain children who arrive at school lacking essential resources due to financial challenges. Please consider contributing resources for a child's educational success and future!

My Project

The use of wobble chairs in our classroom will offer flexible seating. One great benefit of the wobble chair is to increase the students' core function and maintain balance while seated. Another benefit is to allow children who fidget a way to relieve stress and movement. The last benefit is to reduce the amount of times a student gets out of their seat. With these great benefits, my students will maintain attention and focus on the task at hand. I do have many students that are hyperactive. I feel that this chair would really help them.

By donating to this project, you will not only help to improve and increase scholars' attention, excitement, and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
