My students need wobble chairs to help generate their energy towards learning. Learning can be more engaging if they have a wobble chair to exert their energy so they can focus on the task presented.
My students have a passion for learning. Most of them come from low-income families and are raised by family members. For these students, school has become a safe haven for them. Our classroom is our family and I take pride in creating a unique learning experience! I continually reinforce good reading habits and promote individuality in learning. The majority of children crave versatility so our learning style helps their creativity in learning!
Although we move around, my students still get restless!
Our daily routine includes station rotations, group work, and individual work. Technology integration is a major component of our daily education.
My Project
As educators, we struggle to compete with flashy technology and video games! I spend most of my time trying to keep my students engaged by any means necessary. We have incorporated some flexible seating options in our classroom to allow children the freedom to choose their learning style, but we want more options!
Walt Disney said, "Our greatest natural resource is the minds of our children." I want to challenge my students to be the best they can be!
Wobble chairs will enhance daily learning by adding much-needed variation, allowing students to focus on their activity and release any extra energy!
