My students need wobble chairs for academic success! Early learners and special needs students are often very active and don't have seating that supports their need to move around. Wobble chairs are the perfect solution!
My Kindergarten students are in a large, urban district. Many of these students are transitional and therefore move from school to school a lot. We have a large population of Hispanic and African American students as well as children from many countries in various parts of Africa and Asia.
We pride ourselves on providing multi-cultural instruction to meet the needs of all of our students.
I value each child's background as a tool for growth and want to encourage them to appreciate that we are all special coming from different cultures. My goal is to create positive experiences for each child and truly establish their love for learning.
These wobble chairs are so important for the development in early childhood learners! They are also incredibly beneficial for children struggling with ADHD and other disabilities such as Autism. These students can face daily struggles with each day of learning. The wobble chairs are wonderful resources for the student who needs to be able to "move and groove" while actively participating in class activities. Teachers often forget that a young learner or active learner may have difficulty staying seated and focused. Too many times, these children are unfairly restricted and lumped into one category not taking into consideration their physical and learning needs. These chairs will be a fantastic addition to my classroom. I would love these chairs to be available for my students who need the opportunity for non-distracting mobility while reaching their academic potential. Wobble Chairs would highly benefit my ability to reach all students and address their individual learning needs to be successful!
