My students need 7 Hokki stools. The Hooki stools will give students opportunities to get their wiggles out and focus on the task at hand.

My Students
I teach a very active group of 2nd graders who come from a high poverty, low income area. Almost half of my students come from a home where a language other than English is spoken. Many of my students come from single parent homes or are being raised by a grandparent. Although these things could be viewed as setback, my students practice perseverance each day.
Many different cultures and backgrounds are represented in my classroom that bring a different perspective.
My students come to school eager to learn and give 100% each day.
My Project
I have students in my room that simply need movement as they learn. These wobble chairs will provide them with a (safe) opportunity to learn that a standard chair does not always give them. This seating option will also give my kiddos the pleasure of movement without causing distractions to those around them.
Students will be able to get their wiggles out, which will allow them to focus on the work at hand.
