My Students

Room 10 is an exciting place to learn! My students are encouraged to explore, discover, and move. However, the old classroom seats just aren’t cutting it anymore. With all of the energy in my classroom, students need seating that moves with them. Creating a comfortable and kid centered room allows students to focus, remain engaged, and soar to new heights.

I work at a Title I school where all students receive free breakfast and lunch.

Many of my students come from low socio-economic households.

My Project

Third graders move a lot. They have more energy than they know what to do with. Asking them to sit still in a classroom for long periods of time on a hard chair is unfair and discouraging. I wouldn’t be happy or focused either! They need seating options that are developmentally appropriate. These wobble chairs will help the students in Room 10 explore their developing center of balance, help them focus their excess energy, and keep them engaged in learning. Thank you from Room 10 for helping me create a student centered classroom that my students will enjoy for years to come!
