My classroom is a diverse group of students who come from various backgrounds! My students enjoy being actively engaged in a myriad of activities from World War II, the Women's Suffrage Movement, poetry, historical fiction, and various works of authentic fiction novels. I like to teach Language Arts through different genres and use collaborative research projects to engage my students. My students enjoy using Socratic seminars to discuss different topics with each other. This group of students does an amazing job of teaching each other through collaboration, discussion, observation, and the use of technology.
My classroom is one of the ESE mainstream classrooms in our school.
This diverse group works well together. It is important to me to deliver relevant and interesting content to my students that help to harness their curiosity and engagement with the world around them! These wobble chairs would help with engaging students with guided reading!
My Project
This project is to inspire my students to come to guided reading excited! The wobble stools will sit around my guided reading table. The idea is to have something different to sit on so they are excited to come to small groups.
Students love having wobble stools to sit and read, write, or do other activities in!
This will engage them even more than they already are. Please help us with our goal of six of them for our classroom! This resource will be very helpful and fun for our students. I can't wait to see the look on my students faces when they see the new stools!
