My students need 6 wobble stools to provide seating options in the classroom.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
I am excited to be a first year, second grade teacher in a small community in southwestern Kansas. Having student taught in this district last semester, I am eager to have my own classroom for this upcoming year. I hope to create a welcoming environment that allows for all students to learn and grow.
The families in this community are primarily low-income and from many different cultural backgrounds.
I have a wide range of student abilities and learning preferences in my class. I can't wait to get to know my first class of second graders!
Just as adults have preferences in where they like to sit to work, kids do to! Traditional desks and chairs do not allow for all students to concentrate and do their best work.
By providing several options of seating choices in my classroom, I am helping them to take ownership of their learning.
I will have choices such as yoga balls, scoop rockers, stools, crate seating, floor pillows, and I would love to add wobble stools to this as well. Wobble stools allow students to wiggle around while working, providing some students their optimal learning spot! Please consider supporting this innovative classroom style.
