Mrs. Montgomery from Glen Burnie MD is requesting flexible seating through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
My students need 4 Kore wobble stools as a fun, alternative seat. These seats encourage students to wiggle, shake and be active while learning.

I am a third grade teacher to an amazing group of students. We are a high poverty school in Maryland but that does not stop my students from aiming high and reaching for the stars. Although faced with many challenges in and out of school, there is no goal that is too high for my students. At our school, we believe that We Can and We Will.
We are excited to think outside the box and make education fun and innovative.
Not only will skills learned in my class prepare my students for college, but also for the real world. We love to be hands-on and to use technology to learn. We love to engage in projects that will make the world a better place. We also love to get up and move! In my classroom, the best way to learn is by doing it! My hope is for my students to make a positive impact on their community.
We are requesting four wobble stools to encourage movement for students in a high poverty area of Maryland. When my students are indoors learning, many times they lean back in their seats which can be dangerous.
My students would like the opportunity to wiggle and wobble in their seats while they are learning.
This will encourage movement and will also help students to stay focused in class. These items will not only help my students this year but also for many years to come. I am sure that these stools will become the highlight of my classroom. I am looking forward to the opportunity to allow my students to wiggle and balance while they work. Who knew that kids can learn while also being active?
