This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Research has shown that when children are permitted to move, that they have an increase in concentration and productivity

Due to the pandemic many of my students struggle to sit and focus for a sustained period of time.

Perseverance in learning is vital. I am trying to create a learning environment that allows them to wiggle, while maintaining their focus and increasing their working stamina.

I want my classroom to be an engaging, inviting, and comfortable place where children can be children. Chairs that allow them to wiggle and jiggle as they work, helps me to achieve the desired learning environment that will best meet the needs of my students.
