My Students
I work with special education students who live with learning disabilities, emotional disruptions and speech impairment that affect their ability to function in a general classroom. Facing challenges of a low income and impoverished area, they are pressured to meet a status quo that wasn’t built for them. So, we create a classroom culture where they learn in the depths of their hearts that everyone is acceptable exactly the way they are, no matter the circumstances.
For my students, success is simply trying and sometimes simply trying can make a huge difference.
Days with my students bring numerous opportunities to laugh and enjoy life the way it is.Every day is new for the kids. You have to be able to start new too.
My Project
My students enjoy lessons filled with hands on activities. The OSMO GENIUS KIT features a smart technological way of learning. It includes features that gives students an opportunity to learn through play. Skills such as Alphabet recognition, handwriting and motor skills are practiced with this product. The OSMO learning kits allows learning to be fun at a hands on approach. My students will benefit from these materials by enhancing learning skills. Also, these materials will make learning relatable. The character OSMO add on games makes learning relatable to students through play. Connecting fun with learning will increase chances of retaining skills.
