My students need writing utensils, paper, and pencils. Since they are visual learners, they also need highlighters. Many come to school unprepared because they come from economically disadvantaged homes.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are very bright and compassionate. I want to return the favor by giving them the classroom materials needed for their bright futures to be successful.
Give to my classroom by April 5 and your donation will be doubled thanks to DonorsChoose.org.
Just enter the code LIFTOFF on the payment page and you'll be matched dollar for dollar (up to $50).
If you chip in to help my students, the students and I will be forever grateful and show sincere gratitude and appreciation through a written letter or card.
Thanks so much,
Krista
P.S. If you know anyone who may want to help my classroom, please pass this along!
My Project
Many of my students come from economically disadvantaged homes. Because of this, they often come unprepared which impedes their instruction and learning. In my class, we work with a lot of stories, text, articles, etc. These highlighters and writing utensils helps the student underline/light important information. They also make use of the paper to jot down notes. These materials make a difference in student learning because all students should have the right to an education with the proper tools. It will improve their lives because they will feel encouraged to do well when someone invests in their educational career endeavors.
