We are a 5th grade class of 12 students in Fort Smith, AR in a PK-6 building. Being a fifth grader is tough work. We love to read and collaborate. We take pride in our learning and work hard to prepare for the future. Most of my students are English Language Learners and come from very low socioeconomic families.
They are very creative and love to learn, especially when doing hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions!
They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically.
Many students in my classroom come in saying they have difficulty completing practice assignments at home. Due to COVID, I am struggling to let students learn by usual means as grouping. My students are on different learning levels and I am struggling to find a way to group students together based on their reading levels.
My Project
All of my students want to learn. However, some students are on different learning levels than others. This leading online education platform provides academic support for 30 million learners and educators a month. It also allows learners to learn on their level. One Size Does Not Fit All.
With all the resources on study.com, my students will be able to choose from a variety of resources that will allow them to work independently at their own grade level.
They will also be able to choose lessons that interest them and are on their level. The books on this website will increase their reading ability, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading. It will also allow them to work at their level in other subjects.
