Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am a proud teacher of a classroom full of amassing 3 year olds! As the school continues on we are learning through play in our centers, I am able to learn more about students and their interest. I have learned that my students have a love for science but we don’t have many science material and engaging activities that they can learn from in our centers. With these materials my students will be able to engage in the science center more frequently and learn through play with the materials and collaboration of their peers. My students will be able to learn from one another with the materials in the centers based on their interest knowledge. For example I have some students who love talking about the life cycle of caterpillar with the life cycle kit they will be able dive deeper in their interest while opening the interest of the peers in the center with them. My vision is to allow my students to grow more and more in each area of learning.
