My Students

My students are awesome kids! They are hard working kids who love hands on experiences. My students attend a small school where they know almost every child in their current grade.

My goal is for my students to love science!

I want them to enjoy coming to my class each day because they know they are going to enjoy and benefit from the lessons I will teach them.

Sixth grade students are amazing. They are going through so many changes. They are at the age when they begin to truly question what they want to be when they grow up, and I would love to foster their love of science.

My Project

Chromebooks will allow my students to research science topics that we study in class. Students will have the ability to learn more about the world around them with just one click.

The learning experience can be amplified through exploration and research of science topics that spark student interest.

There is so much learning that can be done using computers and the world wide web. Chromebooks in the classroom will allow my students to work one on one or in groups to discover new things.

In the next couple of months, my students will begin exploring an animal of their choice. They will need to complete extensive research in the classroom using reference books, videos, and online information to satisfy the research component of the project. Chromebooks in the classroom will allow my students to efficiently and effectively research the animal of their choice.
