This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach 4th grade in Pennsylvania. It is the 4th largest school district that offers free breakfast, lunch, and other amazing opportunities to all the students. It is an urban public elementary school that touches many beautiful minds!

Because we are an urban school many of the costs for school supplies falls on the teacher.

Over the years I have had the opportunity to meet and get to know many wonderful students who have touched my life in lots of ways!

My Project

These flexible seats/laptop holders will really benefit our classroom. My classroom is located in a modular building adjacent to the school. Not only will they help those students who have a hard time sitting at their seats all day, but they will help us focus on our new guided reading program which is computer based.

My school is really focusing on conquering literacy in all aspects and therefore we are starting a new computerized reading program.

I am extremely excited about this program and think that the students will love being able to take the Chrome Books around the room to focus solely on mastering the program.
