With CoSpaces VR/AR We ARE the Learning Experience!
My students need a classroom subscription to CoSpaces Edu, which will offer experiences in showcasing their learning through AR/VR landscapes, plus includes coding exercises.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our fine arts magnet school is located in a vibrant and diverse community. Although we are in a high poverty district, our school has been able to retain our fine arts magnet status. However, it has been a challenge to find the funding for exciting, up-to-date learning materials that fit our 21st-century students.
One hundred percent of the students who attend our school receive free or reduced-price lunch.
We have a highly diverse immigrant population. As a choice school, students from many different backgrounds and countries attend our fine arts program. Our staff works hard to provide them with any materials they need to enhance their learning experiences.
My Project
The AR/VR components of CoSpaces will allow my students to physically connect with their learning. They will be able to create, consume, and connect with their subjects in a completely different manner using virtual and augmented reality. If we are studying oceans, my students will be able to create an VR/AR ocean environment based on their research. Once completed they will be able to 'enter' their ocean project virtually and share their newfound knowledge with other students.
Also, if my students are writing a story they can make it come alive using CoSpaces and invite other students to experience their creativity and see their stories in action.
The students can also collaborate and connect with this program to create group projects. It would be very exciting to have my students practice 21st century skills of creation and collaboration--which they will need for their future jobs. This is a great first step!
