The students at our magnet school are curious, creative, inquisitive young people. The teachers at our school are passionate about supporting student learning with exposure to as many new experiences that are possible within the confines of four walls. My goal this school year is to push students to think deeply and respond to the world in positive and impactful ways. Many of the students in our community lack the resources needed to foster a positive worldview. Each child deserves to learn that they are change agents.
My Project
My classroom is need of a document camera so that I may project images or texts directly from my computer.
Having a document camera in my classroom will enable students to share ideas through reading, writing and so much more!
The document camera will also enable students to project their work and share their thinking with the entire class. Students love to share their strategies for solving math problems or showcase a piece of writing that they are proud of.
The aspect I love most about this particular camera is that I can project videos, images, and documents directly from my computer. It opens up a world of possibilities for learning in the classroom!
