My Students

I teach 6th and 7th grade students. My school is fifty percent Title I. Having said that, my school does not get enough funds to support it 40% of its underprivileged students. These kids come from impoverished neighborhoods, living with their grandparents or live on a single parent's income. My school does not have money to support technology for these students. In my whole middle school, we have only 32 Chromebooks to share between 6th-8th grade students. Said that it is really bad these kids have no control over their learnings.

While I can't provide a Chromebook for each student, I am asking for your support to help me buy a Wacom Intuos M CTL6100WLE0 Graphics Tablet that shall help me in my teachings.

My Project

I use technology extensively in my teaching. Most of the time I am tied to the smartboard explaining my power-points to my students. With big classes, Sped Students, and ADHD students never get a chance to stay focused and engaged.

For my students to share their work, they have to walk up to the board and stand in front of 30 students which makes them afraid of making mistakes, reluctant to share, and it turns them down.

With this Wacom Intuos M CTL6100WLE0 Graphics Tablet, students can share their work at their seat, the teacher can model to students as she is standing next to them, making sure they are getting the explanation and the examples at the reach of their hands
