Wireless Microphone System for Our Band

My Students

The students at my school are fantastic, driven, and capable. They have been consistently pushing themselves to meet the high expectations given to them, and they have been doing so with positive attitudes and grit.

Our band program has been steadily implementing more programs and performances every year.

Our marching band is going strong, and has increased their numbers of musicians and color guard members. We have two jazz bands, and most of the students participate in small ensembles during concerts to demonstrate pieces that they have rehearsed all by themselves. The love of music is strong at our high school.

My Project

This wireless microphone system will tremendously aid our entire band program. The marching band uses a wireless system to enable a metronome to be played in the backfield along with instruction from our drum major and band director. We need more microphones for our woodwind soloists to be heard. For the jazz band, the wireless mics will be used as soloist microphones. Sometimes, the microphones need to be passed around, and the wireless capabilities prevent wires from tangling up. For the concert band, the wireless system will enable us to provide background music between ensembles to be played away from the mixer. We use a wireless mixer system, and have a difficult time playing music while physically away from the mixer.

The wireless system will make life much easier for our young performers!
