My Students

In the Art Room, we sculpt, draw, and paint. This year, we will have over 550 students in the art room on a daily basis. Every year, we win over thirty awards from the National Scholastic Art Awards as well as other competitions. This year, one of our students won a National Award from the National Scholastic Art Awards. Our students have fun while they create beautiful, substantial works of art.

Our students are diverse from all over the world.

Many bring different and new ideas to the art room. Our students are bright, inquisitive and eager to learn new techniques. The art room brings cultures together in a community.

My Project

This year, both wire making and patches (embroidery) have become extremely popular. To make sure all grades may have the opportunity to try out this materials, we need two class sets of wire tools and embroidery hoops.

The students love to explore both jewelry making and chain links using the round nose pliers and needle nose pliers.

The students are able to bend, cut, and manipulate the wire into sculpture as well.

The students not only make patches, but learn how to embroider gifts for their family members using the needles, hoops, and muslin. Thank you in advance for helping build upon the supplies in the Art Room.
