Help me give my students hats, gloves, snow pants, and snow boots for the cold Wisconsin winter! Many of my students need appropriate waterproof winter clothing so they are able to play in the cold and snow.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I work at a public preschool with a primarily Hispanic population. Our preschool houses three K3 classrooms, six K4 classrooms, and six K5 classrooms. It is also part of a daycare and after-school care program. I teach kindergarten and have 24 wonderful students!
Each day they come to school happy and excited to learn!
Despite economic class, every child deserves the same opportunities and this school gives them that. We work alongside our families and community to make sure every student that walks into our classroom receives the best possible education!
My Project
These materials will make a difference in my classroom by providing families with the appropriate clothing for the winter months. As a class, we go outside for recess each day.
It is extremely important that these kids are dressed for the weather.
I want to be able to provide these items for the families that need them and also have extras in my classroom for the students to use. As you know, Wisconsin winters are brutal and it is necessary for the students to be dressed to keep them healthy and to allow them to be able to play outside.
