My Project

I have accepted a new position in my school building for next year that will be very rewarding to myself and much needed for all students. I will be a SEAD Coach for the entire building. This stand for Social Emotional and Academic Development.

Classroom Management is so important in schools right now.

Students are facing many challenges at home and at school. They struggle to communicate how they are feeling and what they need to face their challenges. I will be setting up a space that students will find safe and comfortable in.

Calm corners are being set up in every classroom in my building. These spaces have tools students can use to identify with their emotions and take a minute to themselves before returning to work. Plushies are a warm and welcoming addition to a calm space. They give comfort to most students and students can squeeze them. These plushies will be a great addition to our school.
