My students are fourth graders from a suburb in western New York. They are full of smiles, hugs, and excitement for learning. They are curious, energetic, out of the box thinkers, who find solutions to problems most would not.
My kiddos absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions!
They come to school, each day, ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration! My inquisitive students thrive on hands-on learning experiences and academic challenges that truly encourage growth!
My Project
Fourth graders need to be effective as well as efficient mathematical thinkers. In order to help them achieve this I am always looking for high engagement activities that can support their learning. To become proficient and beyond, students need multiple opportunities to engage and grapple with challenging mathematics activities.
With these games my students can build their number sense, logical reasoning skills, and spatial awareness skills in a fun and engaging way.
Board games also can help my students develop vital social skills.
