My Project

Watch out for CROCS! Well, I guess they aren't too scary when students decorate them with cute accessories! As an elementary school teacher, Crocs are everywhere, even in the rain! So how about I use that to my advantage and motivate students to do their work by giving them some incentives that will decorate and personalize their rainbow of Crocs!

Students work harder when they know that someone is proud of their accomplishments.

I brag about my students every chance I get, and I am so proud that I have so many reasons to be proud of them. They are growing so much this year and even though some of our material is difficult, they are continuing to push themselves to be better versions of what they were last year. My students work hard, but when there is a little prize involved, they will definitely push themselves even more.

I would love to give my students the opportunity to collect charms on a weekly basis if they have met their individualized weekly learning goals. Everyone will have an opportunity to earn a charm each week as long as they have met their goal! By the end of the year, I hope all Crocs are bedazzled and personalized to show off their hard work ethic!
