Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students love to learn. They have so many question, some of which could be a perfect opportunity to learn from by doing research/How many times do we hear our students say that history is boring? Why does learning history need to be boring?
About 98% of my students are second language learners or ELLs.
ELL means English language learner. English is not their native language and can be hard for them. The area in which my school is located is an area of poverty where parents are always working and cannot afford school supplies.
My Project
With this netbook my students will be able to do research to answer questions that they have on the material we are covering. My students also need supplies to keep our classroom clean, and keep us healthy during the cold season which is quickly approaching!
My project is important because my students want to learn, and want to be able to do research and come to class daily.My project is important because my students aspire to do well in school.
They desire to dream big and have others believe in them along the way. I want to give students the same experience I was able to get when I was in school, and I hope you do, too!
