Wild About Washington's Endangered Species

My students need books to learn about endangered species in Washington and the Pacific Northwest.

Hooray! This project is fully funded

Hooray! This project is fully funded

We're going wild about native species. This project involves 6th grade students and helps them focus on endangered animals in our state. Many of my students haven't had a chance to see these animals in real-life and this project helps them make a connection to our environment and how humans impact other species around us.

Students get really excited about this project, but limited print resources dampen their enthusiasm when multiple students have to share a small number of books.

The selected print resources really focus on species in and around our area. Having multiple copies of these titles will greatly enhance the ease of their learning.

Your help will make it possible for my students to become fully immersed in their learning. In turn, they gain knowledge and understanding of the issues surrounding our local wildlife and what they can do to help protect them.
