This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students motivate me to keep pushing daily. They are always so amazed at the historical events and documentaries that I teach from. I demonstrate to them that life is worth living and education is a MUST in order to survive. Every day I get the opportunity to make a difference in someone's life. I inspire, support, and mentor them as they grow educationally daily to meet the state standards.

My Project

We live in a rural area where technology is hard to come through. Many parents are reaching out through other avenues asking for copies of printed notes. The students are 100% virtual in the area I live in. I am finding myself using my home printer to print more and more assignments and student grades.

My class is in need of a good printer so that I may print more reading passages and assessments.

The printer will allow me to print reading passages for my students to enhance their reading ability. It will also help print assessments and comprehension reading questions.
