My Students

Imagine walking into your very first school classroom. Ever. For many of my sweet kindergarten students, this is the case! My students are general education students from various backgrounds in the Middle Gerogia area ready to enter a world of learning! Our school and community are growing quickly and I want to meet the needs of my eager students in the best ways possible. They jump into this classroom each morning ready to learn and work hard to achieve their goals.

My Project

With so much access to technology, students are unfortunately entering kindergarten with less motor strength and control. Allowing students to move while learning will create a positive early learning environment for young learners while also giving them an outlet for all of their built-up energy. At times, sitting still for my kindergarteners is nearly impossible! My students need the ability to wiggle and move around as they learn. These flex-space wobble chairs will enable my students to strengthen their posture, as well as strengthen their core muscles, increase their ability to focus on tasks, and enable them to learn more! Having these wobble chairs will enable my students to focus and fidget at the same time.
