My Students
I teach in an urban school in a very large school district. Each school in our city has it's own budget based on many different factors. There are 1.1 million students in the district.
Students learn best when they are given choices to be as comfortable as possible.
Students want to always do their best when being comfortable.
I have many students in the classroom each year. Our school district is quite large and resources are hard to come by each school year.
My Project
I have a very large class and a carpet that can't house all students comfortably.
Some students are not seated on the softness of the carpet due to the large number of students in the class and the carpet not being large enough.
These cushions will assist the in being comfortable while deepening their knowledge of all things learned.
Students can take turns using these cushions so that their mind is not continuously on how uncomfortable they are, but on participating and being actively engaged in the lesson.
The students minds and bodies will surely benefit from the addition of these cushions in our classroom.
