For years, I have used plastic and metal stools at my small group reading table while instructing students. These stools have also traveled between different classrooms and been used as rewards, for in-class aids, as part of school plays, and even, unfortunately, objects to be thrown during a tantrum. They have seen it all! Unfortunately, they are also easily breakable and have been broken several times. Throughout my time using these stools I have become a broken record of "4 on the floor" as student inevitably wiggle and wobble around on them in an unsafe manner. This year, our class was very active and our stools have been pushed to their limits!
These wobble chairs will provide a safe way to wiggle and wobble while we write and read without distracting from the task at hand!
I would like to replace the remaining unbroken stools in my classroom with these sturdier, safer stools that will be more wiggle-able and developmentally friendly. Help me give my students safe, ADHD-friendly equipment!
