Help me give my students wobble chairs for their wiggles and an electricity tub to enhance their exploration and understanding of magnetism and electricity.
My amazing fifth graders are hard-working and happy. I have students from many different backgrounds, including several who are ESL learners, and several who struggle with social skills.
Many of my students struggle with math and reading, and several have learning disabilities.
They are all amazing and work really hard! Some of my students wiggle a lot and need several breaks to be able to stay focused.
I love giving my students hands-on opportunities whenever possible, especially in science and math.
My Project
My students love learning about electricity and magnetism, especially when it is hands-on with fun activities to explore. With the compass we will get to go on scavenger hunts and get first-hand experience with Earth's magnetic field. I love seeing their amazement when they explore this topic and I can't wait to see what they can discover with the Snapctricity kit and Electricity Tub!
My wigglers will love the wobble chairs!
Students in my classroom are allowed to move freely about, but sometimes sitting at their desks is necessary and these wobble chairs will be so helpful in getting started with flexible seating. Wobble chairs will also help to minimize distracting student behaviors.
