My energetic fourth graders come to school eager to learn each and every day.
Our school promotes activities and learning opportunities that reach out and engage all types of learners. Although active breaks and kinesthetic learning opportunities are available throughout the day, when my students are provided the freedom to move, they are better prepared to connect to new concepts and skills. It is my goal to instill a love of learning to help students achieve their lifelong goals!
My Project
My students are an active group of kids who just don't like to sit still. There are times that we need to be sitting stationary in the classroom, and many of my students have difficulty maintaining focus when they feel the need to MOVE!
They know that they need to be actively engaged in learning, so my students want a way to get their wiggles out while still attending to academic tasks.
The balance balls and portable lap desks are the perfect solution! These options will provide everyone a comfortable, safe seat while allowing for freedom of movement during class. I believe these materials are just the thing for energetic fourth graders to learn while moving and move while learning! Keeping students physically active throughout the day boosts positive attitudes, improves focus, and helps to improve behavior. Everyone in our classroom will benefit from these active seating options!
