My Students

I have a class of 20 amazing and wonderful students. They enter the classroom every morning eager to learn, and eager to spend time together. They enjoy their time in our classroom and they enjoy learning together. My students are excited about school and love learning more about reading, writing, math and science.

My students are very active 1st graders who are working hard to become better readers, writers, mathematicians and scientists.

This is something they work at every day.

My Project

All of my students love learning and they also love moving. We have been very fortunate to receive some Hokki stools from several Donorschoose.org projects. My students love using these stools and they really appreciate having them.

My students would like these Hokki stools to sit on while they are working with me in small reading and writing groups.

It takes a lot of concentration to learn new skills, and that is something my students work on every day.

I have noticed that having Hokki stools at their seats helps them to focus. Having these stools to sit on while they are working with me would be a wonderful addition to our classroom.
