My class serves kindergarten through second grade. All of my students qualify for special education. My students have a range of abilities and challenges. Most of my students need many breaks between work tasks. They are very sweet and all special in their own way. The items we are asking for will allow students to explore their goals and have so much fun they forget they are learning. They will be able to move their bodies and build their fine and gross motor skills in a socially distant way.
My Project
My students have been at school since September. As other students are coming back to school we are losing more and more access to our building and to the play equipment. Please help me give my students a way to work out their wiggles, giggles, and big feelings using tools that will be used this year and for years to come. With the restrictions we are facing this year as a school district it is very important to give them access to large motor movements and build their ability to manage their big feelings.
